Italy CT Roberto Mancini confirms Sandro Tonali and other youngsters could play tomorrow – “we too are curious to see them”.
The Azzurri face the USA in a friendly in Genk tomorrow, and the Coach spoke in the pre-match Press conference this evening.
“If those who played on Saturday are fit they could all play,” Mancini revealed.
“We waited a while to have all the players who were injured for the first call-ups. [Marco] Verratti is an example.

“If those who played on Saturday are fit they could all play,” Mancini revealed.
“We waited a while to have all the players who were injured for the first call-ups. [Marco] Verratti is an example.
“The group has done well, and are ahead of where we expected in some respects. There’s still a long way to go though.
“Could Tonali and the other youngsters play? Yes, we too are curious to see them at work. I think they’ll have their chance.
“In attack [Kevin] Lasagna will start from the first minute, that’s the decision unless something happens in the next few hours.
“Between the posts will be [Salvatore] Sirigu and not [Gianluigi] Donnarumma.”
Italy have struggled to score in recent matches, and indeed captain Giorgio Chiellini is the top-scorer among those called-up for the two matches.
“It’s a problem, because if you don’t score you don’t win. Of course we were a bit unlucky against Portugal, for example their goalkeeper made some great saves.
“The wheel will turn sooner or later, because we have strikers who can score.”
