“Tomorrow I hope that, above all, it’ll be a great game.

“At the moment Bayern are ahead of us in terms of preparation, they started working 20 days before us. Despite this we want to play a good match.

“We have improved as a team. Now there are new players and I hope that we’ll manage to compete for the Scudetto.

“Xherdan is here, he has a little problem and I don’t know if he’ll be ready. If he doesn’t play he’ll be available for Real.

“We’re here for the Chinese supporters. We want as much support as possible from our fans.”

Brazilian playmaker Hernanes was alongside Mancini at the conference and gave some insight into the playing style being encouraged by the former Manchester City Coach.

“The Coach’s philosophy is the same, since day one,” said Hernanes.

“Move the ball as quickly as possible. Our objective is to build the game and we’re improving in this aspect. We hope to do it again tomorrow.”
