Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà warns Manchester United have until July 20 to get Andre Onana from Inter, while Fiorentina midfielder Sofyan Amrabat is ‘not top of the list.’

The Premier League club seem to be focusing a great deal of their resources on trying to sign players from Serie A, but are finding themselves with a very limited budget due to Financial Fair Play issues and the on-going takeover bid.

Over the last 24 hours, it was reported Inter rejected the first formal offer for Onana, which was set at €40m plus bonuses.

Speaking to Passione Fiorentina, Pedullà warned that Inter are only prepared to wait until July 20 for someone to reach the €60m asking price, otherwise the goalkeeper is staying at San Siro for the season.

The situation is less strict for Amrabat, as Fiorentina have lowered their original €40m price-tag set straight after Morocco’s World Cup heroics to €30m and are keeping the door open throughout the summer.

However, while Amrabat is on the Manchester United list, he is also not at the top of it and would only be an alternative to other targets.

The budget set aside for a midfielder is not believed to be higher than €25-28m, so that would not quite be enough to get Amrabat from Fiorentina.
