Tammy Abraham has reportedly attracted the attention of Manchester United ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old Englishman joined the Giallorossi in the summer of 2021 for €40m and shined in his debut season in Italy, scoring 17 goals and providing five assists across 37 Serie A games, playing a key role in their Europa Conference League victory.

Whilst things started slowly for Abraham in his second season in Rome, he’s rediscovered his form since the World Cup break, scoring three goals and providing two assists in the league in 2023.

As reported by Caught Offside and the Manchester Evening News, Manchester United are seriously interested in picking up Abraham in the summer, bringing him back to the Premier League.

Chelsea have a buy-back clause in the Englishman’s contract, set at €80m, which they’d likely look to lower should they look to bring him back. For now though, the West London club have other priorities.

Manchester United are keen on Victor Osimhen but appreciate the difficulty in trying to pry him away from Napoli, making Abraham a more accessible option.
