La Gazzetta dello Sport and Il Corriere della Sera both confirm that Lotito is preparing a contract extension for the player.
Biglia's contract, currently set to end in 2018, will be extended to 2020 at a salary of €2m a year.
Manchester United are trying to break in with an offer of €27m, topping the list of European clubs after the Argentinian. Said list, according to La Gazzetta, includes the likes of Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich.
However Lotito, backed by the insistence of Coach Stefano Pioli, believes the player is fundamental and is not willing to sell him.
According to La Gazzetta, Lotito will not consider offers below €40m, while Il Corriere believes that the starting price is even higher at €50m.
