Negotiations continue, but Manchester United have still not agreed a transfer fee for Rasmus Hojlund with Atalanta, as a gap remains.

It is likely to go through eventually, although La Dea are eager to squeeze every penny out of the Premier League side for the highly-rated striker.

According to Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedulla, the asking price remains €70m plus another €5m in performance-related bonuses.

They would be prepared to drop that to €68m plus €5m in add-ons, which is likely where the final agreement will be reached.

However, the clubs are not there yet, as he claims Manchester United have only raised their offer to €62m plus €5m in add-ons.

The negotiations will continue and there could be a larger figure handed over to the bonuses in order to bridge the gap, but Atalanta are not easy to negotiate with, as they have no debts and have Hojlund under a long contract.

They only purchased the 20-year-old last summer from Sturm Graz for €17.2m, while the Austrians in turn paid just €1.95m to sign Hojlund from FC Copenhagen in January 2022.
