Nikola Maksimovic has left the door open to a return to Napoli, calling Coach Maurizio Sarri ‘a professor of football’.
Maksimovic joined Spartak Moscow on loan until the end of the season in January, having failed to break into Sarri’s plans, but the arrangement does not include an option to buy for the Russian club.
“There are times when you mustn’t drop your head as a player,” he told Spartak’s official website.

“There are times when you mustn’t drop your head as a player,” he told Spartak’s official website.
“You have to face things by working ehard, ven if something goes wrong. I didn’t find any space in Napoli’s team at the start due to an injury and also because there were other owners.
“Sarri has nothing against me, he’s a professor of football. He simply chooses to play with the same team if there are no bans or injuries.
“That’s why I chose Spartak, because they play in Russia, where the World Cup will be held.”
