The Brazilian full-back has been linked with the Spanish giants for some time and he's again been paired with the Liga giants.

Quizzed on such a possibility by IlSussidiario.net, Antonio Caliendo was asked to comment on how feasible such a switch is.

"It's a year that we have been talking about this," Caliendo stated. "The transfer market runs at such a speed that things can change from one day to another.

"One thing is for sure, Inter chief Massimo Moratti has no intention of accepting a Real player as part of a Maicon sale. The President wants just cash.

"It's hard to say how much. Last year he rejected a €25m offer. If the same offer arrived this year I think he'd sell, but I'm not the one who sets the price. Inter will do that.

"Maicon has a good relationship with [former Inter boss Jose] Mourinho," the representative continued.

"But I don't think President Florentino Perez is convinced about spending so much money on a player who has won a lot, but is no longer that young."
