Christian Maggio’s agent says his client is ‘very happy’ having agreed a new contract with the Partenopei.
Club President Aurelio De Laurentiis confirmed earlier today that a three-year deal had been agreed upon, and Maggio’s representative says he and his client are delighted.
“Christian is very happy,” Massimo Briaschi told Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli.
“The renewal is an important sign of confidence from the club, in both the player and the man.

“This is not a gift from the President to Christian, but a just reward for what he’s done for Napoli over the years, and what he can still give.
“We were negotiating for a long time, but we always said that the priority was Napoli. There were other offers, not so much from the northern clubs but from clubs close to Naples and abroad.
“However, Christian has decided to stay at the team where he’s had the best time of his career.”
