Reports in Italy back those in Spain claiming Real Madrid have a deal with Alisson, but haven’t met Roma’s asking price.

It was reported this week that Los Merengues had agreed in principle on a five-year deal with the goalkeeper, who will be Brazil’s number 1 at the World Cup.

Mundo Deportivo stated though that the offer to the Giallorossi was €55m plus €5m in bonuses, a long way short of the €80m asking price.

Mundo Deportivo stated though that the offer to the Giallorossi was €55m plus €5m in bonuses, a long way short of the €80m asking price.

Now Sky Italia is backing those reports, adding that the Champions League winners will make an official offer next week of €60m plus bonuses.

That still won’t be enough to convince Roma, but given there is an agreement with Alisson there should be room for manoeuvre.

The Lupi have already rejected €50m from Liverpool, and it’s thought the Reds have now pulled out of the race.
