Federico Macheda’s agent says Napoli are yet to register an interest in signing his client.
The Partenopei are being linked with a host of unattached forwards after news broke on Sunday evening that Arkadiusz Milik will be out for around six months with knee ligament damage.
25-year-old Macheda, released by English Championship club Cardiff City in the summer, has been unable to find a club since but is one of the names being touted as a possible replacement for Milik.

“With Napoli, for now, there has been no contact,” Donato Di Campli told Calcio Napoli 24.
“I don’t know what might happen in the coming days.”
Dani Osvaldo is another player linked with the Partenopei, but his agent has already ruled out a comeback to football for the 30-year-old.
