“But when I said that Olympique Lyonnais has a big stock of valuable players, I didn’t mean we’d let Corentin or Alexandre Lacazette leave.
“Those who have written that were mistaken. If we can, we want to keep them and then other players will be sold.
“Of course, the priority will be to keep them. The best thing would be to win the Europa League, that would make things a lot easier.
“There were five clubs who will be in the Quarter-Finals of the Champions League in the stands [against Metz] so we know there will be interest.
“I have high hopes though, because I know Corentin and Alexandre are keen to win trophies here and if OL become equal with some of the big European teams they’ll stay and I’ll be very happy.”
