Olympique Lyonnais are reportedly considering Inter left-back Dalbert as a replacement for Ferland Mendy.

Mendy recently completed a €48m transfer to Real Madrid, and FC Inter News claims Lyon are showing ‘real and serious’ interest in Dalbert to fill the void.

The website explains that although Monaco and Olympique Marseille are also pursuing him, their Ligue 1 rivals – now coached by Roberto Mancini’s former Nerazzurri assistant Sylvinho – can ‘easily’ afford a permanent deal.

The Beneamata spent €21m to sign the Brazilian from Nice in the summer of 2017, but he has gone on to play just 26 times for the club in two seasons.

In order to avoid capital losses, FCIN writes they are demanding ‘at least €15m’ from suitors.
