Inter transfer target Kalidou Koulibaly is in advanced talks with Al-Hilal, but Romelu Lukaku is telling Chelsea he will not join anyone other than the Nerazzurri.

After a wild spending spree on Todd Boehly’s takeover of the club, the Premier League side now find themselves having to whittle down a massive squad.

They hope to recoup funds from the Saudi leagues, selling Edouard Mendy to Al-Ahli and Hakim Ziyech to Al-Nassr.

Koulibaly, who Inter had requested on loan after just one season in England, is in negotiations for a move to Al-Hilal worth €30m per year.

Chelsea would gladly sell Lukaku to the Saudi clubs too, but the Belgium international is putting his foot down and refusing to consider any alternative to Inter.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and more, Lukaku has his heart set on extending the Inter stay and that means negotiating new terms for the loan.

He was already loaned to them this season for €10m including bonuses and all sides are pushing for a discount.

Chelsea paid €113m to sign Lukaku in the summer of 2021, a move that the centre-forward almost immediately realised was a mistake.
