The Belgium international scored a brace against Torino to secure Inter’s 4-2 win with the Nerazzurri who recovered from two goals down in the last 30 minutes.

“Honestly, we are not a big team yet,” the former Manchester United striker told DAZN.

“It’s not good to struggle as we did in the first 60 minutes, we played badly.

“We played without anger, without desire to win. We woke up later and the most thing was to gain the three points.”

Is he the leader of this team?

“No, I am only a player who wants to help his teammates, I don’t like when people say I am a leader.

"We have many important players who have been playing here for long time. I am only a 25-year-old guy who plays here and wants to do well, let’s hope we can win something but we must do more because today we didn’t play a good game.”

Belgium coach Roberto Martinez has recently said Lukaku is going though the best moment of his career.

“I am improving, I always try to do it. My motivation is to win something, I want to do my best for Inter and I can only do it with a good coach that helps me every day and with the team that allows me to do great things.”

The Belgium striker did also explain the ‘machine gun celebration’ with Lautaro Martinez.

“Lautaro wants to start playing Call of Duty with me and [Achraf] Hakimi, we are beginning, this week I gave him a PS5 so he can start playing with us.”
