“Firstly, I’d like to know how it’s possible in Italian football to have four Presidents in a month,” Lucarelli asked in an interview with Tiki Taka.
“But also how you can act on the market in January when you have players who haven’t been paid for six months.
“We’ve been used as a guinea pig, but I hope that new federal rules come out of this, because this could happen to another club in the future.
“The January signings? Poor guys, they regretted it as soon as they arrived. After a few training sessions they realised what the atmosphere was like. It becomes difficult to prepare for games.
“These lads have made themselves available, with a lot of desire, but they soon realised Parma’s difficulties.
“We’re in the hands of President Manenti, we have to hope that what he’s said will become reality. Up to now promises haven’t been kept, so I’m not sure what we can do.
“We haven’t seen a Euro since July. We always try to think about what happens on the pitch, but we always talk about other things. It’s difficult to go on like this.”
Lucarelli also reiterated criticism of football’s governing bodies, warning that they must show that they want to save Parma if the players are to finish the season.
“Feeling protected means having an interest in the possibility of saving Parma, not just to finish the season.
“I don’t know if the relevant bodies have understood this. Anyone who was following Parma’s movements would have already taken control in November.
“We were left to drift, now time is running out. We want concrete signs from those who run football. We don’t guarantee anything, we want to save this club.”
