Claudio Lotito has urged Lazio’s fans to ‘behave properly’ during Wednesday’s Coppa Italia Final against Atalanta.

Sections of Lazio fan base have gained notoriety for their poor conduct this season, and Lotito asserted his side were counting on their support tomorrow evening.

“It’s a unique game. We need everyone’s help to reach our objective,” he said at a Press conference.

“And when I say everyone, I really mean everyone: the players, first of all, the technical staff, the doctors, the masseurs and also the fans, especially them.

“If we stick together and row on the same boat, we’ll have a great chance.

We’ve built a group who can compete with anyone.

“I hope the team are focused on winning a trophy, which would give great satisfaction to the club and fans.

“The fans have to be fans, we respect them and we’ll help them comply with the rules.

“I hope that tomorrow will be a day of sport, of great passion, but in compliance with the rules in a serene atmosphere.

“I hope all the fans behave properly.”
