Lazio President Claudio Lotito has been fined €10,000 for insulting the referee, but the club avoids punishment for racist chants.

The incidents occurred during the Serie A draw against Torino on December 29.

At half-time, Lotito burst into the referee’s locker room and insulted the officials, earning him a warning and €10,000 fine.

However, there is no mention in the disciplinary commission’s report of the clearly audible racist chants aimed at Torino midfielder Soualiho Meite when he was sent off.
