Although the centre-forward isn’t assured of regular first team football, as well as sometimes being fielded as a winger, the 21-year-old is prepared to remain with the outfit for 2013-14.

Inter-owned striker Samuele Longo says he’d happily spend a second season on loan at Spanish club Espanyol.

Although the centre-forward isn’t assured of regular first team football, as well as sometimes being fielded as a winger, the 21-year-old is prepared to remain with the outfit for 2013-14.

“I am happy at Espanyol and very content,” the Italian noted. “I would be happy to stay another year here, but for now I am focused on the team and we’ll see in the future.

“I’d like to play more, but with Coach Javier Aguirre here I am learning more than before, especially mentally. It would be easier if I had more minutes, but I am young and I am growing.

“I can improve in every aspect, I like to work and after training I stay to exercise,” continued the former Primavera man.

“I have to keep fighting and fighting. It’s not pretty but that’s football. I’m calm because I trust myself and I know that I have to keep my head down.”
