There is more bad news for Milan building up to the Serie A showdown with Fiorentina, as Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Simon Kjaer and Rafael Leao are still out of action.
The league returns this weekend after the break for international duty and Stefano Pioli had hoped to use this time to recover some of his many players from the treatment table.
However, Loftus-Cheek and Kjaer again did not take part in full training today, instead working on separate, individual programmes.
Leao was diagnosed with a lesion to the thigh and will certainly be out this weekend, likely also missing the Borussia Dortmund Champions League clash.
There is a little more hope for Christian Pulisic and Davide Calabria, who trained in part with the squad, in part on an individual session.
Olivier Giroud is suspended for two rounds following his red card for dissent against Lecce.
Ismael Bennacer, Marco Pellegrino and Pierre Kalulu are long-term absentees.
