Stanislav Lobotka has arrived in Rome for his Napoli medical, after the club agreed a €20m plus bonuses deal with Celta Vigo.

The two sides had been locked in talks for a number of weeks, and it seemed at one stage that the transfer might fall through due to differences over the method of payment surrounding the deal.

However both sides compromised, and an agreement was struck for €20m plus €4m in bonuses, according to various reports.

Lobotka has now arrived at Villa Stuart in Rome to begin his medical with the Partenopei.

The Slovakian made 90 appearances in two-and-a-half years for the Spanish outfit, without scoring.

The 25-year-old midfielder could be in Napoli's squad for their Coppa Italia match against Perugia on Tuesday.

Lobotka's arrival comes just hours after Diego Demme had his Napoli medical, ahead of the midfielder's €12m move from RB Leipzig.
