Juventus' Fernando Llorente admits Barcelona are ‘the best in the world’, but warns that ‘favourites don't always win’ in football.

The Italian double winners face off against the Blaugrana in Berlin on June 6 in the Champions League Final with their senior Spanish striker aware of the task in front of them.

“We know it's going to be very difficult because we're up against the team that currently are the form team of the moment,” Llorente has told Mundo Deportivo.

“In my opinion, they're the best team in the world.

“They have three players upfront who belong to another planet, but we'll try playing our game and winning it.

“[Lionel] Messi is the best player in the world. He has those two [Neymar and Luis Suarez] by his side who also have incredible quality, but the number one remains Messi.

“Barca are the favourites, but in football the favourites don't always win. I think we've got better chances in a single match than if we were playing twice.

“I don't know what the method is to beat Barcelona. I suppose you have to play the perfect game and make no mistakes anywhere.

“You can't allow anything to a team like this because they can mess you up at any moment.”
