Serbia boss Sinisa Mihajlovic is ready to recall Fiorentina’s Adem Ljajic to his set-up – but only if he agrees to sing the national anthem.
Ljajic has been frozen out of Mihajlovic’s plans since he remained silent ahead of the May 2012 friendly against Spain.
“The doors are open for everyone, including Ljajic,” the former Bologna, Catania and Fiorentina tactician noted to Novosti.
“But the player knows that there are rules here that have nothing to do with football. Everyone has to respect the anthem, the country and the shirt.
“If Ljajic sings and is in form then I’ll call him up. If he doesn’t want to sing then he can’t play.”
The 21-year-old, three goals in 17 League games this term, is a Slav Muslim from southern Serbia's Sandzak region which borders Bosnia and Montenegro.
