Liverpool are believed to be in the market for a goalkeeper after the struggles of current No 1 Simon Mignolet, and Perin’s agent admits he has spoken to the English club.
“I think he [Perin] will remain at Genoa this season, but will go abroad next year,” Moreno Roggi revealed in an interview with Rai Sport.
“At the moment he’d cost between €15m to €20m. I can see his future being abroad, because Genoa want at least €15m.
“I’d like him to stay in Italy, but only clubs abroad can afford a goalkeeper who would cost that much.
“England? It’s a possibility, there was contact from Liverpool.”
