According to Mediaset Premium, Jurgen Klopp has already set his sights on Insigne as a potential replacement.

Insigne is currently in fraught contract negotiations with his hometown club Napoli, who are refusing to double his wages.

On the other hand, Liverpool would reportedly be prepared to offer €30m for the transfer fee plus a contract worth €6.5m per year.

That salary would be triple what Insigne currently earns at the Stadio San Paolo.

In turn, Napoli are considering Manchester United outcast Memphis Depay as the man to fill in for Insigne, facing competition from Milan and Roma.
