The ex-playmaker has been appointed as boss of the outfit’s Allievi Regionali B team and will be assisted by Fabio Barabino.
The Roman, born in April 1976, left the Italian top flight as a player in the summer after ending his three-year stint at Palermo.
A winner of three Italian caps, Liverani also played for Perugia, Lazio and Fiorentina in the Italian First Division.
As a player, Liverani won the Coppa Italia with Lazio in the 2003-04 campaign.
