Troubled Atalanta and Inter striker Marko Livaja is on the verge of leaving Serie A for Rubin Kazan.

The 20-year-old is talented, but all too often accompanied by controversy during his so far brief career.

Sky Sport Italia claim a deal has been struck with Rubin Kazan to sell Livaja for €6.1m after he passed a medical in Munich.

That fee will be split evenly between Inter and Atalanta, who co-own the Croatian forward, with a five-year contract for Livaja.

He scored four goals in 23 games this season between Serie A and the Coppa Italia, but has been frozen out in recent weeks following an ugly row with fans on Facebook.

Livaja has been suspended by Atalanta several times for arguing with Coach Stefano Colantuono or most famously punching teammate Ivan Radovanovic in a training session.
