Benfica defender Lisandro Lopez will reportedly complete his proposed transfer to Inter this weekend.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Inter will pay €500,000 to loan Lopez until the end of the season and have the option of keeping him permanently for €9m.

Consequently, the 28-year-old is expected at the Nerazzurri's training ground on Sunday, ahead of being officially unveiled 24 hours later.

Lopez, who was named Argentina's Footballer of the Year with Lionel Messi in 2013, has made just eight appearances for Benfica this season.
