Di Natale announced he would hang up his boots at the end of the season, but has been scoring regularly in recent weeks.

Udinese President, directors and Coach Francesco Guidolin all said they are convinced he will change his mind.

Nonetheless, this could be the final match in his lengthy career after 190 Serie A goals so far, three in the last two rounds.

Di Natale starts with Bruno Fernandes and Roberto Pereyra in an experimental 4-2-3-1 formation, as Luis Muriel, Maicosuel, Dusan Basta, Francesco Benussi and 17-year-old goalkeeper Simone Scuffet are all sidelined.

Thomas Heurtaux and Danilo are suspended, so there are big changes at the back for Udinese.

Sampdoria are without Pedro Obiang and Gaetano Berardi, but Stefano Okaka leads the front line with support from Manolo Gabbiadini, Eder and the exciting Roberto Soriano.

It could also be a goodbye for Guidolin and Sinisa Mihajlovic, as neither Coach has decided his future yet.

Udinese: Brkic; Gabriel Silva, Domizzi, Bubnjic, Widmer; Lazzari, Allan; Pinzi, Bruno Fernandes, Pereyra; Di Natale

Sampdoria: Fiorillo; Regini, Gastaldello, Mustafi, De Silvestri; Krsticic, Palombo; Soriano, Eder, Gabbiadini; Okaka
