The Partenopei have had a cracking start to the season, getting through to the Champions League with a 4-0 aggregate play-off victory over Nice and conquering Hellas Verona 3-1 at the Bentegodi.

Maurizio Sarri will be concerned about this fixture, though, as last term Atalanta were the only Italian side to beat Napoli home and away.

Elseid Hysaj is suspended after his red card against Verona, so veteran Christian Maggio gets a rare start at right-back.

Mertens is still struggling with a bruised toe, but Arkadiusz Milik is left on the bench, as the Belgian starts with Lorenzo Insigne and Jose Callejon.

All eyes will be on Reina, as this week his agent confirmed an offer had arrived from Paris Saint-Germain, so this could be his final appearance in a Napoli jersey.

Unlike Atalanta’s Leonardo Spinazzola, Reina is not on strike or refusing to train in order to force through a transfer.

The Orobici use Josip Ilicic supporting Andrea Petagna and Papu Gomez, but Mattia Caldara scored a brace in this fixture last season, so will be one to watch.
