Yacine Adli has been almost non-existent at Milan and could leave in the coming weeks following interest from Lille.

The 22-year-old French midfielder was signed by the Rossoneri in August 2021 from Bordeaux in a deal worth around €8.5m and was immediately loaned back to the Ligue 1 side to allow him to continue his development.

Adli fully joined Milan last summer and was integrated into Stefano Pioli’s squad, but he hardly featured in the Lombardy capital, seeing just 140 minutes of action across six total appearances, playing just 25 minutes after mid-October.

Page three of today’s Gazzetta dello Sport highlights how Lille have emerged to register their interest in Adli, keen on the idea of bringing him back to Ligue 1.

The 22-year-old is considering the idea of returning to France, but is currently trying to win over coach Stefano Pioli. He featured in the pre-season friendly loss to Real Madrid and is part of the squad on their US tour.
