French and Italian newspapers are now reporting that PSG director Leonardo could return to Inter as their transfer guru.

The Brazilian had spent six months with the Nerazzurri as Coach from January to June 2011, but left because he said he preferred working behind the scenes.

He resigned from his post as director of sport at Paris Saint-Germain after he was given a 14-month ban for pushing a referee.

The resignation only comes into effect in September, after the summer transfer session has closed.

According to both Le Parisien and several Italian sources, Leonardo is planning an Inter comeback as their new director of sport.

It is believed Leonardo is particularly wanted by Erick Thohir, the Indonesian magnate currently in negotiations to buy into the club.
