But speaking at this morning’s Champions League draw, the former Rossoneri player and Coach underlined that no transfer is on the horizon.
“He’ll stay with us, 100 per cent,” the Brazilian noted. “There really isn’t even the need to talk about that.”
Turning to the draw itself, Leonardo seemed content that his outfit have been paired with Spain’s Valencia.
“We were afraid of Real Madrid,” he admitted. “Valencia are a good side, but I think we have a chance of qualifying.
“We haven’t been at this stage of the competition for 17 years, so it was nice to come here today and see that other clubs wanted to avoid us…”
