There have been heavy storms all over Italy this week and the rain has been falling in Lecce for hours.

It even caused a brief blackout at the Stadio Via del Mare, which lasted approximately five-six minutes.

Power was restored, but the authorities are concerned that trees are coming down in the area close to the stadium, so a car park and some entrances have been shut.

Fans are being ushered in via different entrances.

There is also the issue of the pitch, as there are areas of the turf where the ball does not seem to be bouncing.
