Lazio youth product Danilo Cataldi is set to sign a five-year deal with the capital club and end speculation of a move to the Premier League.

The 20-year-old has impressed since breaking into the first team earlier this season and has been scouted by the likes of Arsenal and West Ham United.

However, Biancoceleste President Claudio Lotito has no intention of selling the midfielder and has already begun contract negotiations with his representatives, according to Calciomercato.com.

Cataldi is still on a youth contract with the club but is an Italian Under-21 international and regarded by fans as a future Lazio captain.

The new deal will reportedly be in the region of €500,000 a year until 2020.
