Poland Under-21 midfielder Patryk Dziczek is undergoing a medical at Lazio this morning.

However, Dziczek will not hang around for long as he will be turned over to Serie B side Salernitana – owned in part by Lazio President Claudio Lotito – on a season-long loan.

The 21-year-old plays for Piast Gliwice in the Ekstraklasa and has represented Poland at several youth levels.

He will become the latest Pole to ply his trade on Italian shores after the likes of Krzysztof Piatek, Wojciech Szczesny and Bartlomiej Dragowski.
