Cesare Prandelli is the new favourite to be Lazio Coach next season, despite Simone Inzaghi’s impressive displays.
Inzaghi was appointed caretaker manager last month after Stefano Pioli’s dismissal and has won three of his five Serie A games, including last week’s 2-0 victory over Inter.
Despite this decent run and a positive response from the squad, President Claudio Lotito does not think Inzaghi is the right man for the job long-term.

According to Il Tempo newspaper, Lotito has wanted Prandelli for quite a while and is eager to get the former Italy Coach at the Stadio Olimpico.
It’s reported director of sport Igli Tare would prefer to back Inzaghi.
