Luca Banti will now officiate the Derby della Lanterna between Sampdoria and Genoa on Sunday, replacing Paolo Tagliavento.
The Lega Serie A announced the change ahead of the match, which kicks off on Sunday at 14.00 UK time (13.00 GMT).
Banti will be assisted by Mauro Tonolini, Gianluca Vuoto, Davide Massa and Maurizio Mariani, while the Fourth Official is Alfonso Marrazzo.
