Zeca almost gave the hosts an early lead when pouncing on an Abdoulay Konko backpass, but narrowed the angle too much to get round Federico Marchetti.

The Lazio goalkeeper was kept busy by Marinakis, while Floccari nodded over and Ederson had a shot charged down in the six-yard box. The Brazilian pulled back for Senad Lulic, forcing a great save out of Kapino.

Marchetti needed a one-handed reaction save to deny a Karelis curler from distance, but straight after the restart a Nano goalline clearance prevented Andre Dias from heading in the opener.

Dias was also decisive at the other end when Dinas looked likely to score and substitute goalkeeper Albano Bizarri fingertipped another Dinas cross-shot on to the bar.

In stoppages, Dias almost snatched a winner with a volley that scraped the upright.
