It could be a busy week in the transfer market for Lazio, who could make official offers for both Lucas Torreira and Cyril Ngonge in the coming days according to reports from Calciomercato on Monday afternoon.
After comfortably securing qualification for the Champions League by the end of the 2022-23 season, Lazio have reportedly made Torreira, formerly of Sampdoria, Pescara, Arsenal and Fiorentina, their primary target heading into the summer window.
Initially reported by Daniele Longo, the Biancocelesti are prepared to pay Torreira’s current club Galatasaray €10m to acquire the player’s services and are willing to offer the Uruguayan an annual salary of €2.5m until 2027.
Representatives from the club are expected to meet with Torreira’s agent within the next 48-72 hours as per Monday afternoon’s report.
Lazio also have reported interest in Hellas Verona forward Ngonge, who only moved to Serie A in January.
Calciomercato believes that Verona President Maurizio Setti would like to sell the player for around €10m before the end of June, and Lazio are believed to be among the frontrunners to land his signature.
