Lautaro Martinez is reportedly out of tonight’s Argentina match against Paraguay due to a muscular injury and could be replaced by Inter teammate Joaquin Correa.
The striker was expected to start this evening’s World Cup qualifier, the first of three fixtures during the break for international duty.
However, according to Radio La Red, TNT Sports Argentina and more, Lautaro Martinez has been ruled out by a slight muscular problem.
It is not thought to be a serious injury, but the twinge in training prompted coach Lionel Scaloni to err on the side of caution.
Instead, Argentina turn to his Inter teammate Joaquin ‘Tucu’ Correa, while the Nerazzurri medical staff await more information.

Don’t worry Interisti, it’s not like you will miss his goal scoring production in Champions League or anything like that !
