Inter could decide to let Diego Godin leave at the end of the season, and replace him with Verona defender Marash Kumbulla, according to a report in Italy.

Godin was only signed by the Nerazzurri last summer on a free transfer from Atletico Madrid.

However there have been reports that the veteran isn’t settled in Milan, and wants a return to Spain.

Godin has been rotated by Inter coach Antonio Conte, and despite starting regularly in cup competitions for Inter, has only made 12 league starts.

Il Corriere dello Sport suggest that the club could cut him loose at the end of the season, and replace him with Verona defender Kumbulla.

The 20-year-old has excelled at the heart of the Gialloblu defence this season, and was close to a move to Napoli in the January transfer window.

The Rome daily speculates that Inter could offer €20m for Kumbulla’s services in the summer.
