Napoli could complete their €13m move for German World Cup winner Christoph Kramer tomorrow.

The 23-year-old midfielder has been linked with a switch to Serie A for several weeks, but both Tuttosport and Sportmediaset claim there has been a huge development.

It’s reported Kramer suddenly interrupted his post-World Cup vacation and is heading back to Europe.

Kramer is owned by Bayer Leverkusen, but currently in the middle of a two-year loan spell at Borussia Monchengladbach.

There are now suggestions the breakthrough is Napoli being prepared to pay the ‘fine’ for interrupting that loan.

It would bring the total cost of the move to €13m, while he’d sign a five-year contract worth €1.8m per season.

Kramer started the World Cup Final against Argentina, but was carried off after just half-an-hour with concussion.
