Bayer Leverkusen director Rudi Voller has dismissed speculation linking Christoph Kramer with a move to Napoli.

The Vesuviani have been increasingly linked in recent days with a move for the Germany international, following his success with the national team this summer at the World Cup.

The Vesuviani have been increasingly linked in recent days with a move for the Germany international, following his success with the national team this summer at the World Cup.

Whilst talk has been of a €12m offer being tabled and the player himself has confirmed negotiations are ongoing, his parent club have suggested otherwise.

“Contact with Napoli? These is only rumours, whilst it is normal for some clubs to have approached us after the good World Cup the guy has had,” sporting director Voller has told the Rheinische Post.

“Kramer will play another year at Borussia Monchengladbach and then come back to us. He is an integral part of our project for the next few years.”
