Kalidou Koulibaly has made his Napoli return in time for this evening’s decisive Serie A clash against league leaders Inter.
The 30-year-old Partenopei centre back has been away for the last month on international duty, finding Africa Cup of Nations glory with Senegal. Coach Luciano Spalletti has decided to call him up for today’s game against the Nerazzurri, giving him his return to the squad. The Senegalese defender has not made a league appearance since the 2-2 draw with Sassuolo back in December.

Napoli’s squad list does not have any other surprise announcements, with Spalletti having a mostly full-strength squad available to him.
This evening’s match is key for Napoli; they currently trail Inter by only one point in the Serie A table, and a win would see them return to the top again. The Nerazzurri do have a game in hand though, following their postponed match against Bologna, and so the Partenopei’s ascension to the top may only be temporary.
