The Partenopei defender was the subject of racist chanting by Lazio supporters in Wednesday night’s 2-0 victory at the Stadio Olimpico.

The referee even had to suspend play for several minutes due to the insults.

Now a group of Napoli fans have pledged to show their support and solidarity with the player by printing out Koulibaly masks to wear during Sunday’s game with Carpi.

“The entire Neapolitan population feels offended along with its young champion,” wrote the ‘Quello del Sangue Azzurro’ group of ultras.

“For this reason we want Koulibaly to feel all our affection and closeness. We are all with you, Kalidou.”
