Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly was ‘disappointed’ not to play in the Europa League against Wolfsburg, his agent reveals.
The Partenopei won the match 4-1 in Germany, all-but assuring them of a place in the semi-finals of the competition, but the Frenchman played no part, before playing 90 minutes against Cagliari.
“My client is a bit disappointed,” Bruno Satin told Radio Crc.

“My client is a bit disappointed,” Bruno Satin told Radio Crc.
“He thought he’d play against Wolfsburg. The match against Cagliari was a quiet one, it certainly wasn’t one of the most important moments of my client’s career.
“During the season there are different dynamics, he played a lot at the beginning of the season, then he had a dip in form in January, and we know what the competition is like at Napoli given the quality of the squad.
“Benitez makes his choices, but Kalidou is a player who always wants to play, and prove to the Coach he deserves it.”
