Aleksandar Kolarov will reportedly leave Inter and ‘most likely’ move to Bologna ahead of 2021-22. ‘They reached some sort of agreement on holiday in Sardinia’.

Journalist Sandro Sabatini spoke about the Serbian defender’s future, as the 35-year-old’s deal expires this month.

The former Roma defender was brought to Inter by Antonio Conte and had an option for a further year in his one-year deal at the Giuseppe Meazza.

But Sabatini claims the former Roma and Lazio player has decided to leave Inter this summer and seems set to end up at Bologna.

The Serbia international reportedly met up with Sinisa Mihajlovic in Sardinia, where the Rossoblu coach resides in the summer.

“Kolarov will most likely play for Bologna next season,” Sabatini told SportMediaset. “Him and Mihajlovic are compatriots and have found some sort of agreement on holiday in Sardinia.”

Kolarov spent three years at Roma after moving back to Serie A from Manchester City in July 2017, but only played seven games in Serie A 2020-21, when the Nerazzurri won the Scudetto.
