The German bagged a brace in the 3-0 victory away to Palermo, which arrived after Stefano Pioli was sacked.

“I am a striker and I need to score goals, but it’s more important that the team plays well,” Klose told Mediaset Premium.

“Inzaghi didn’t bring something more than Pioli as such. The two Coaches knew each other and play with the same system.

“It was more an issue of mentality, so after a week at the training retreat in Norcia we had a good talk. Now it’s up to us, it’s up to the team.

“We have to run and work hard, as it’s the only way to play better.”

Can Inzaghi become a great Coach?

“I’ve only known him for four days, but yes, it’s a good start.”
