Miroslav Klose assures he’s not leaving Lazio in January, but “I am not satisfied with my playing time.”

The striker spoke to German newspaper Die Welt to conclude the year in which he won the World Cup while setting a new all-time scorers’ record in the tournament.

“I cannot say that I am satisfied with my playing time,” Klose said of his Lazio campaign.

“I renewed my contract because I want to play and believe I can help the team. In order to get into shape, I have to play at least two or three games in a row.

“If I keep coming on for under 45 minutes, then I’ll never achieve match fitness. It’s pointless like that. So far I have remained calm, but I would feel bad if I didn’t get more space at Lazio. I’d feel like an old table thrown in the cellar.

“Will I leave in January? No, absolutely not. I spoke to the Coach and he knows what I want.”
